Hello, here is a larger 100% natural fish fossil in its Green River Formation Matrix! It is an uncommon Knightia ALTA with SCALES that was quarried in an extinct lake that is known as Fossil Lake in Lincoln County, Wyoming.
This fossil dates from the Eocene Era a Crazy! 53 to 48 Million years ago!
The fish measures a nice 11.98cm or 4.75" and the overall piece or matrix is 14.4cm or 4 11/16" at its biggest or from opposing side to side. Please note that a Display STAND is included.
