Description

Jaguar XK120.
Selling my late husband's 1951 Jaguar XK120 Roadster.
This was a restoration project that he had worked on for many years until a sudden illness.
He wrote out a list of what he had finished on the car:
Body work completed in primer. Doors had been on the car and he removed them for final painting.
New clutch/pressure plate.
Rebuilt engine with hardened valve seats.
Engine has been test run in car, but not for a few years.
Rebuilt suspension
Rebuilt brakes but need to be bleed
SS Exhaust
New exhaust manifold porcelain
New wiring harness (not yet installed)
Lots of re-chromed pieces including brake handle, taillights, windshield stanchions, etc.
New biscuit and red real leather seat covers. bottoms installed, one back installed.
Re-chromed seat frames
Some matching red vinyl upholstery for trimming
New floor boards not yet installed
Restored instrument panel not yet installed
New tan top

Fender skirts in primer
XK120 motor but not matching numbers
When purchased, the car had an XK140 engine in it. He found and rebuilt a correct XK120 engine and installed that in the car. The extra XK140 engine (G8xxx-x) is included in the sale as is a second 3.4 Liter Mark I engine (KF5xxx-x).
