    78-79 DiMarzio Super Distortion Pickup
    Rare Transistional Production
    One of the last of the square-footed Super Distortions, this 78/79 SD does not return a reading on our multimeter. It has the "made in USA" stamp so it is not a 75-77 and has about 1" of leadwire. The bobbins have considerable grooving and wear. Plenty of patina to the brass-bottom plate. This item is being sold for parts or restoration and would provide the perfect vintage template for a rewind should the short not be locatable (we did not test it extensively to find it).
