Engineered and designed for U16 racing, the Blizzard Firebird GS FIS racing skis are an ideal choice for the competitors today and the future olympians of tomorrow. Built with similar specs to the World Cup models, these skis feature age-appropriate flex and turn shapes that align with the FIS rules of the year of production. Available in 184 or 188 cm, these skis are the ideal choice for advancing and high-level U16 racers for use in competition, but they also make amazing adult racing skis, just have to check your local rules and regulations for sizing and radius requirements. The 184 cm ski generates a 25.7-meter arc, so these are great skis for beer league competition or other non-sanctioned races for adults, and adhere to the FIS rules for the current race year. That radius is on the shorter side, so these skis can really turn on a dime, and they do so with a ton of power and stability, so you don't really have to worry about over skiing them. Built with a competition wood core and two sheets of metal, these are the real-deal race skis that hold tight to the most technical courses in the world. If this is for a NORDIC ski, we just need your EU boot size in order to mount.  Since eBay requires sellers offering 1-day handling to ship within 24 hours of payment, and mounting takes some time, your item will ship unmounted if the BSL is not provided at time of payment.

*Returned skis that have been mounted are subject to a 20-25% restocking fee. If you are unsure about keeping the skis or your boot size we recommend shipping the skis & bindings unmounted.
Where to Find Your Boot Sole Length (BSL)
The boot sole length is not your foot size or boot size; it is a millimeter measurement of the boot shell. Ski boot manufacturers emboss this measurement into the plastic shell at the heel or under the arch. The number will fall between 255-365mm for an adult ski boot. This number will be greater than your mondo boot size (
eg.
a mondo size of 23.5 commonly has a BSL of 275mm). Please include the “mm” unit to indicate that the number given is the BSL and not the mondo size. Without this precise manufacturer's measurement, we cannot mount your skis.
If we are given incorrect mounting info, the buyer will be responsible for any remounting or restocking fees.
Binding Check:
Buyer is responsible
for taking Ski + Binding to a certified ski shop before use to make final adjustments and do a safety release check.  We do NOT set DIN levels.
Product Availability
Our eBay store shares much of its inventory with our family-owned retail store in Stowe, VT and sometimes our inventory is not accurate due to purchases made locally. If you purchase something that is sold out, we will try our best to find you a suitable replacement item. Any payment for an item that is not available will be refunded immediately. Keep in mind that weekend purchases are not finalized until Monday due to our eBay Department schedule.
