For fast and fun turning on firm and smooth snow, the Fischer RC One 78 GT skis with bindings are an awesome setup. Built with the same pedigree as the upper-end 86 GT but in a narrower and more forgiving package, the RC One 78 is a quicker and lighter ski that will satisfy the front-side specific skiers of the resort. Even with the thinner metal laminate, the 78 GT still has a ton of strength and stability. In addition to the narrower waist, the skis also have a shorter-turning nature, allowing intermediate and advanced skiers to really get the feeling of a high-end ski without having to get it up to ludicrous speed in order for the thing to carve a clean turn. The 78 GT has more of an all-speed compliance, which is great for emerging advanced skiers to get the feeling of a pure carve at a more manageable velocity. With a bit of tip and tail rocker to help the ski in and out of turns, the skis are fantastic for both hard and soft groomers, creating an inviting application for skiers to roll their edges and get that feeling of clean and round turns. With the 78 mm waist, the torsional stiffness is all there, allowing skiers to have the confidence that they need to really lean into the turn. Where to Find Your Boot Sole Length (BSL)
The boot sole length is not your foot size or boot size; it is a millimeter measurement of the boot shell. Ski boot manufacturers emboss this measurement into the plastic shell at the heel or under the arch. The number will fall between 255-365mm for an adult ski boot. This number will be greater than your mondo boot size (
eg.
a mondo size of 23.5 commonly has a BSL of 275mm). Please include the “mm” unit to indicate that the number given is the BSL and not the mondo size. Without this precise manufacturer's measurement, we cannot mount your skis.
If we are given incorrect mounting info, the buyer will be responsible for any remounting or restocking fees.
Binding Check:
Buyer is responsible
for taking Ski + Binding to a certified ski shop before use to make final adjustments and do a safety release check.  We do NOT set DIN levels.
Product Availability
Our eBay store shares much of its inventory with our family-owned retail store in Stowe, VT and sometimes our inventory is not accurate due to purchases made locally. If you purchase something that is sold out, we will try our best to find you a suitable replacement item. Any payment for an item that is not available will be refunded immediately. Keep in mind that weekend purchases are not finalized until Monday due to our eBay Department schedule.
