Nothing was held back when Kastle re-vamped the FX line, and the 96 is the beneficiary of a whole host of new technologies and build design. Whereas the older version had two sheets of metal, the FX 96 HP has a wood core that is wound in a fiberglass and carbon laminate. This provides excellent stiffness and response without the weight. Damping comes from the Hollowtech tip for the most part, as this technology reduces vibrations quite a bit. The skis are super-stable and smooth, and skiers looking for the ultimate in versatility and performance needn't look much farther than the Kastle FX 96 HP skis with bindings. The low camber profile makes the ski glide from turn to turn, while still generating a ton of power. Where to Find Your Boot Sole Length (BSL)
The boot sole length is not your foot size or boot size; it is a millimeter measurement of the boot shell. Ski boot manufacturers emboss this measurement into the plastic shell at the heel or under the arch. The number will fall between 255-365mm for an adult ski boot. This number will be greater than your mondo boot size (
eg.
a mondo size of 23.5 commonly has a BSL of 275mm). Please include the “mm” unit to indicate that the number given is the BSL and not the mondo size. Without this precise manufacturer's measurement, we cannot mount your skis.
If we are given incorrect mounting info, the buyer will be responsible for any remounting or restocking fees.
Binding Check:
Buyer is responsible
for taking Ski + Binding to a certified ski shop before use to make final adjustments and do a safety release check.  We do NOT set DIN levels.
Product Availability
Our eBay store shares much of its inventory with our family-owned retail store in Stowe, VT and sometimes our inventory is not accurate due to purchases made locally. If you purchase something that is sold out, we will try our best to find you a suitable replacement item. Any payment for an item that is not available will be refunded immediately. Keep in mind that weekend purchases are not finalized until Monday due to our eBay Department schedule.
