The Katana is making a return in triumphant style. After a few years' hiatus, the Katana is back with a fresh new build. Well, it's more like the same build as the Kendo and Mantra models, but that was new for them not too long ago as well. Today, Volkl is staring straight into the souls of those skiers, providing advanced and expert skiers with a big and burly stick to tackle the biggest lines on the planet. At 108 mm underfoot, you're getting enough width to float on a bunch of fresh snow. As the skis in this line get wider, the taper and rocker increase, adding to that floaty nature of the skis. Built with Volkl's titanal frame technology, the skis have precision over the edges and playfulness through the middle. Make no mistake, these skis are all business. Volkl has added their 3D radius sidecut to the Katana 108 which allows the skier to vary up the turn shape and style intuitively and easily. The tail of the Katana boasts a longer radius than most skis, with about a 40-meter arc coming out of the back of the ski. This allows skiers who are fans of the powder straightline to really get up and go with endless stability and no fear of hooking up or the ski bringing you across the fall line. If you're a speed aficionado, especially in fresh, soft, or broken snow, you'll love the endless stability and strength of the hard-charging Volkl Katana 108. These skis have more of a speed minimum than maximum.

*Returned skis that have been mounted are subject to a 20-25% restocking fee. If you are unsure about keeping the skis or your boot size we recommend shipping the skis & bindings unmounted.
Where to Find Your Boot Sole Length (BSL)
The boot sole length is not your foot size or boot size; it is a millimeter measurement of the boot shell. Ski boot manufacturers emboss this measurement into the plastic shell at the heel or under the arch. The number will fall between 255-365mm for an adult ski boot. This number will be greater than your mondo boot size (
eg.
a mondo size of 23.5 commonly has a BSL of 275mm). Please include the “mm” unit to indicate that the number given is the BSL and not the mondo size. Without this precise manufacturer's measurement, we cannot mount your skis.
If we are given incorrect mounting info, the buyer will be responsible for any remounting or restocking fees.
Binding Check:
Buyer is responsible
for taking Ski + Binding to a certified ski shop before use to make final adjustments and do a safety release check.  We do NOT set DIN levels.
Product Availability
Our eBay store shares much of its inventory with our family-owned retail store in Stowe, VT and sometimes our inventory is not accurate due to purchases made locally. If you purchase something that is sold out, we will try our best to find you a suitable replacement item. Any payment for an item that is not available will be refunded immediately. Keep in mind that weekend purchases are not finalized until Monday due to our eBay Department schedule.
