Volkl keeps up with the classics, there's no doubt about that. The 2021 Volkl M5 Mantra remains the same all-mountain ski that generations of skiers have come to embrace as really the flagship model of the all-mountain ski category. It's influential in terms of history and in a modern sense, it's still writing and re-writing the rules for what a ski can do. With the Mantra, the answer is quite simply, everything. Best suited for advanced and expert skiers who prefer high speeds and aggressive turns, the Mantra is a strong ski, but with a light and maneuverable personality. Thanks to the titanal frame and the wood core, Volkl's Mantra has all the basics down to take skiers all over the hill at high speeds and with minimal vibrations. The carbon tips and tails ensure a lighter swingweight while the ski as a whole makes some of the cleanest and roundest turns out there on the mountain. They have a metallic sound to them but when you get going fast, the skis quiet down and settle in for the ride. They love being pushed through turns, trees, bumps, and bowls, and they love to do it with little to no speed limit in sight. The faster they go, the calmer they get, and that's one of the enduring themes of the Mantra as a brand within a brand, and it carries through to the 2021 version as well.

Where to Find Your Boot Sole Length (BSL)
The boot sole length is not your foot size or boot size; it is a millimeter measurement of the boot shell. Ski boot manufacturers emboss this measurement into the plastic shell at the heel or under the arch. The number will fall between 255-365mm for an adult ski boot. This number will be greater than your mondo boot size (
eg.
a mondo size of 23.5 commonly has a BSL of 275mm). Please include the “mm” unit to indicate that the number given is the BSL and not the mondo size. Without this precise manufacturer's measurement, we cannot mount your skis.
If we are given incorrect mounting info, the buyer will be responsible for any remounting or restocking fees.
Binding Check:
Buyer is responsible
for taking Ski + Binding to a certified ski shop before use to make final adjustments and do a safety release check.  We do NOT set DIN levels.
Product Availability
Our eBay store shares much of its inventory with our family-owned retail store in Stowe, VT and sometimes our inventory is not accurate due to purchases made locally. If you purchase something that is sold out, we will try our best to find you a suitable replacement item. Any payment for an item that is not available will be refunded immediately. Keep in mind that weekend purchases are not finalized until Monday due to our eBay Department schedule.
