All new from Rossignol is the Experience 86 Ti. Replacing the Experience 88, this ski is intended to provide improved carving performance and does so in a very fun, smooth and energetic fashion that results in just an awesome on-snow feel. The major difference in construction is that this ski now has metal laminates in it. One full sheet of Titanal lays just underneath the core, while a shaped laminate sits atop the core giving the ski a smooth flex patter without requiring too much effort from the skier to drive the ski into a turn. The ski's ultra-smooth feel can be attributed not only to the addition of metal into the construction but to Rossignol's Drive Tip technology as well. This is a rubber like compound added to the tip which absorbs vibrations and inconsistencies in the snow before they reach your boot, keeping the ski very quiet, stable and steady through the turn. It's safe to say that this ski is objectively better at carving than its predecessors and a lot of that has to do with its updated shape. The Experience 86 Ti features an extended sidecut wherein the widest parts of the ski are all the way out at the very end of the tips and tails, as opposed to previous Experience models that featured some sort of tapered shape. As a result, a much longer effective edge gets put to use in a carve which gives the ski a very stable feel. The generous sidecut makes the ski feel not only inviting into a turn, but more so, eager to do so without feeling too hooky. The ski feels very compliant and you can put the thing right over on edge without having to work too hard. Don't be fooled. This ski is no one-trick pony. Thanks to a fair amount of tip rocker and the Drive Tip technology, this ski makes a great bump ski and can handle terrain off the groomer. The Experience 86 Ti definitely takes a dynamic and experienced skier, but it doesn't require the power and the drive that some other skis in its category do. Advanced to expert skiers will love the improved performance and revamped build of the new Rossignol Experience 86 Ti.

Where to Find Your Boot Sole Length (BSL)
The boot sole length is not your foot size or boot size; it is a millimeter measurement of the boot shell. Ski boot manufacturers emboss this measurement into the plastic shell at the heel or under the arch. The number will fall between 255-365mm for an adult ski boot. This number will be greater than your mondo boot size (
eg.
a mondo size of 23.5 commonly has a BSL of 275mm). Please include the “mm” unit to indicate that the number given is the BSL and not the mondo size. Without this precise manufacturer's measurement, we cannot mount your skis.
If we are given incorrect mounting info, the buyer will be responsible for any remounting or restocking fees.
Binding Check:
Buyer is responsible
for taking Ski + Binding to a certified ski shop before use to make final adjustments and do a safety release check.  We do NOT set DIN levels.
Product Availability
Our eBay store shares much of its inventory with our family-owned retail store in Stowe, VT and sometimes our inventory is not accurate due to purchases made locally. If you purchase something that is sold out, we will try our best to find you a suitable replacement item. Any payment for an item that is not available will be refunded immediately. Keep in mind that weekend purchases are not finalized until Monday due to our eBay Department schedule.
