The Salomon QST 106 is a playful and versatile soft-snow ski designed to conquer deep fresh snow or the leftover bounties of a big storm. The QST collection has been around for a few years now, and for good reason. They are designed around aggressive freeride skiers, but they are very approachable to a wide range of skiers as they have an easy-going persona. Built with a Poplar wood core, the QST 106 has a smooth and responsive flex. Salomon adds in their C/FX technology which is a combination of Carbon and Flax fibers which provide stability and strength overall. At 106 millimeters underfoot, these skis are definitely designed for softer snow, and would be plenty of ski on any powder day at the resort. The Rocker profile of this ski is pretty pronounced. Rocker in both the tips and the tails really allows for some great playfulness in deep snow and just gives the ski an undemanding feel. A bit of positive camber underfoot gives the ski a nice snap and also adds some solid stability in firmer or wind-buffed snow. The QST 106 also features a tapered shape in the tips and tails which allow the ski to act like a knife in deeper snow. Because this ski doesn't feature any metal in its construction, it doesn't have quite the heavy profile of some other skis in its category, so as robust as this ski is, it is a suitable powder ski for a lot of skiers who might have a more conservative ski style or just for skiers who want a lightweight and easy-going powder ski.

Where to Find Your Boot Sole Length (BSL)
The boot sole length is not your foot size or boot size; it is a millimeter measurement of the boot shell. Ski boot manufacturers emboss this measurement into the plastic shell at the heel or under the arch. The number will fall between 255-365mm for an adult ski boot. This number will be greater than your mondo boot size (
eg.
a mondo size of 23.5 commonly has a BSL of 275mm). Please include the “mm” unit to indicate that the number given is the BSL and not the mondo size. Without this precise manufacturer's measurement, we cannot mount your skis.
If we are given incorrect mounting info, the buyer will be responsible for any remounting or restocking fees.
Binding Check:
Buyer is responsible
for taking Ski + Binding to a certified ski shop before use to make final adjustments and do a safety release check.  We do NOT set DIN levels.
Product Availability
Our eBay store shares much of its inventory with our family-owned retail store in Stowe, VT and sometimes our inventory is not accurate due to purchases made locally. If you purchase something that is sold out, we will try our best to find you a suitable replacement item. Any payment for an item that is not available will be refunded immediately. Keep in mind that weekend purchases are not finalized until Monday due to our eBay Department schedule.
