    Offered here is a very
    CHOICE ANTIQUE PAIR OF BLACKSMITH MADE DIVIDERS, STAMPED AND MARKED WITH TWO NAMES: " W. HALBACH" and "GEORGE GRAU" on the legs of the tool.
    This beautiful and classic tool has all the markings and features of 19th century blacksmith workmanship.  The riveted joint is especially nice.  Overall, the dividers measure approximately 6 inches in total length.  The joint is not loose or floppy and the points are in very good condition.  This old
    BLACKSMITH MADE PAIR OF DIVIDERS
    was found in an old machinist's box...dating from the mid 19th century.  These are choice tools and would go great in your
