The turning hardy is hand welded with cold rolled steel (1018 steel) for strength. Each one has two welding passes.
6010 root pass and 7018 filler pass. Not glued gunned.
Cold Rolled steel by most welding codes and standards mig welding is not allowed, only stick or tig welding.
