    Up for auction is a gently used vintage professional Conn LTD. USA "Connstellation" 28D double french horn. All valves and slides move freely, but should be professionally cleaned in the near future. The 28D model is similar in design to the 8D model, but the bell and slide crooks are made of brass. This french horn has nickel silver(lead pipe and outer slide tubes). There are no loose solder joints, no major dents present and several minor dings don't affect performance.  This lacquered brass french horn has scratches throughout from normal use and the lacquer has minor wear, with approximately 75% of lacquer intact. The serial number is in the 422,xxx range. There are blemishes throughout under the lacquer. Included is a used Conn french horn case with working case latches. No mouthpiece is included.
