This is a fabulous split pair fossil. It is an excellent Unidentified Fossil Fish from Brazil. This striking specimen was acquired from the famous Busch Collection. This impressive fossil is quite large - almost a foot long! The distinct fish was fossilized in a concretion, which preserves detail extremely well. The head, body, fins, tail - and even the scales - are fossilized! And the concretion has been split in half to expose the fish in both sides - two great fossils for the price of one! This is a very collectible and beautifully preserved split pair fossil fish from South America.
