    Description

    This is a large, well-preserved fossil fish,
    Diplomystus dentatus
    , with a branch of an unknown plant,  from the famous 18 inch layer of the Green River Formation of Fossil Lake, near Kemmerer, Wyoming. It dates from the Eocene, 50 million years ago. The fish is all natural, there has been no color added. The plate measures 12.5 inches long, 8.0 inches wide and 0.44 inches thick.
    All of the fossils are guaranteed authentic and have been legally obtained.
