Fossil found in Central Texas in a creek bed Near Lake Belton, Texas. Millions of years ago Texas was covered in a warm shallow sea. All types of snails and other sea life existed at the time. It is just a partial fossil, yet is still cool.
The fossil weighs 1lb 7 oz and measures approx. 8" wide at its widest point. Does have a small crack.. its a rock. See last photo of crack.
