Description
Gun Smith's Vise.No. 246 vise made by the Chase Parker Co. of Meriden, CT. Pat. Pending, Patented Nov, 22, 1910. Almost 20" long closed, jaws are 4 1/2" wide (see small chip on one corner), 4 3/4" deep, opens to almost 8 1/4", the base is 11" wide. It does swivel and locks into place with the pins. When you move the vise the bolt locks the vise so it will not move. This vise is a monster and will ship at around 100 pounds in a wooden box by FedEx ground. Shipping will be 0 to the lower 48 states. To Alaska or Hawaii contact me and I will figure out the shipping fee. I bought this vise around 30 years ago from a gunsmith that retired. It weights more than an Emmett vise I had online Please ask any questions. This will take 2 days to ship as I will also offer pick up for the vise, so I am holding off building the box until it is sold. Thanks for looking
