Holton H177 Bb-F Double French Horn (No Reserve)

Description

Holton H177 Bb-F Double French Horn. Condition is "Used", but very good condition considering the age.  I played this French horn in high school 1980-83 and it has stayed in an air-conditioned closet since.  Will need to be serviced.
Holton H177 Bb-F Farkas Model Double French Horn. This horn has some scratches and some very minor dents, but very nice.   The case is probably as nice as you will find for its age because it has had the optional Holton cover on it.
This Farkas Model offers independent tuning for convenience allowing the player to tune the Bb side of the horn separately from the F side. It includes a hand-fitted rotary valve system, string linkage, separate Bb tuning slide, and a change lever designed to fit the thumb in a natural position. Made of nickel silver.
