This is a rare fossil find – it is an Iquius fish from Iki, Nagasaki Prefecture, Japan. Iquius was
thought to be a freshwater, omnivorous fish that lived in the Miocene time period between 16-12
million years ago. This fish measures 6 inches. This is the only one available for sale currently as far as I can tell. We obtained
this fossil in a large collection we purchased which has been in storage since the 1970s.
We have a variety of fossils available so be sure to check out our other listings!
