    Description

    Vintage 1971 Marimekko / DR Design Research cotton print shirt dress, with snap closures and a little belt sash. Women's size 36/US 8. The silk-screened allover print is in a purple gold and white starburst tile motif, an unusual print for Marimekko. The knee-length dress features a pointed collar, defined front and back yokes, 6 silver- tone small snap closures half-way down the front, raglan-style sleeves, and 2 snap closures at each wrist cuff. The dress also comes with a small belt sash in the same fabric, but does not have pockets! Made in Finland. This dress is in excellent pre-owned, vintage condition, and shows little use. So fresh and crisp for a 50-year old garment.
