All Hand Made / Hand Forged. Knife Forging Spring Flatter. Bladesmith.
For use in Double Sided Flatting of RED HOT Steel (Do not attempt to Flatten COLD Steel with this tool!!!!)
A Must for Knife Makers, Ready for years of faithful flattening work.
Made with a 1" x 1" Hardy Post.
Spring is forged from 1 1/2" x 1/4" A36 Steel
2" x 2" Flat Surface, Made from Top and Bottom 2" x 2" x 1/2" A36 Steel Plates.
Has a 9 +/- inch reach to the inside of the spring.
The Striker Plate on top is made of 3/4" 4140 Steel gives you a solid place to hammer your Flatter without messing up the Spring Steel.
I do make these to order, but I get on it pretty quick so It will go out within one business day under normal circumstances, I will post exceptions for  Hurricanes, Floods, Power Outages, Skunk Ape Attack... (You Gotta Love Florida)

Thin coat of High Temp (2000 degree) Black Paint for corrosion protection (Again, I'm in Hot, Muggy, Salty Air Florida).
