The condition rating system evaluates both the top sheet and base condition on a scale that informs you of the amount of cosmetic damage visible on the ski with the condition scale running from 10 as a brand new ski that has never been used down to 6 with significant cosmetic damage. We do not sell any ski with a rating less than six. This condition rating system allows us to accurately and precisely evaluate your high quality future skis at a great price while providing you with high quality skis at a great price.
Top Sheet Condition 6.0:
This top sheet condition describes a ski that may have moderate to heavy amounts of scratching to the surface of the tip and tails from ski usage. The edges of the top sheet may have five or more chips to the top sheet as well as large gouges or heavy scratches. Portions of the top sheet may be delaminating and peeling back from the base. This ski has no compromising damage and is still skiable but has significant cosmetic damage.
Base Condition 6.0:  This base condition describes a ski that may have significant scratching across the base. It will also have some deep scratches and gouges that require P-TEX repairs and/or base welds. These skis should be tuned before use to protect the integrity of the ski for future use and to maximize your experience on the ski, but can be safely skied on as is.
