  • Condition: This is a beautiful dress in very good condition for its age. There are no holes rips or tears. No repairs or funny smellsIt has not been laundered There are 2 very tiny areas that may present a problem in the future, along the back neckline theere is a tiny( approx 1/4" long) spot where it looks like the silk is fraying. There is a similar spot in the center back of the bodice ( approx the same size) If you hold it up to bright light you can see it These could be reinforced from the inside but there is no opening for the dress other than pulling it on over the head so that may explain the little stressed areas - have a good look at the pictures to see the issues described

    Description

    Original Handmade 1920’s Black & White Geometric Pattern Bias Cut Silk Flapper Dress
    This is a beautiful dress in very good condition for its age.
    There are no holes rips or tears.
    No repairs or funny smells
    It is made of black & white silk with a fitted white silk bodice, defined waist,
    & flaring bias cut black silk  skirt
    There is a white silk "shield / arrow" whits silk insert on the skirt
    giving it a very cool geometric design
    There is a belt made of folded tulle measuring approx 30" with a diamond shaped rhinestone buckle
    The dress has not been laundered
    There are 2 very tiny areas that may present a problem in the future, along the back neckline there is a tiny  (approx 1/4" long) spot where it looks like the silk is fraying.
