Matchlessantiques is offering smiths and collectors this RARE - PRISTINE 66 lb. GERMAN HORNLESS Blacksmith Anvil. German anvils are some of the best made anvils in the world, and this one is no exception. Although there it is not dated, it most likely is from the early 1900s. It's all forged wrought iron with a steel face place. The face of the anvil is near perfect as well as the edges are beautiful. What a great anvil for the bench when you're doing smaller work. The face is hard and rebound is amazing. The anvil's weight is marked "30" for kgs.
It's hard to find this style anvil, this size and condition. And it would be hard to find one much nicer than this one, don't miss it. This is a NO reserve auction. Please take a close look at the pictures.
