Reich Black Faille 50’s True Vintage Cocktail Dress. This fit and flair style dress is in very good vintage condition as you see in photos. A little shine on the neckline bow from over pressing and one of the crochet belt loops is beginning to unravel but is functional. The see-through lace is in good shape and these insets would look fabulous with a nude slip for “sheer illusion” (as they used to call it) drama. Metal Crowbf. Brand side zip.
Belted: The original belt is missing however I have paired it with a collectible St. John vintage satin finished belt with cut crystals/stones with a marcasite gunmetal finish. This really elevates the look in my opinion. St. John evening belts on their own sell in the hundred dollar plus range although it’s hard to find comparables. As it is a rare belt - given the stones and vintage good condition. It is marked size 8 and works well with this dress since it fits between 28” to 32” and can be sized down by adding a notch. However - if you are not interested in the belt - please let me know.
