    Description

    2021 Salomon QST 99 skis with a wood core and a laminate that is a magic mix of carbon, flax, and basalt (used in nearly all of the QST line through this season) with the cork-damplifier tips which is amazing at dampening vibration.  I put Marker Sole ID bindings on all my skis because of the quick AFD plate adjustment to fit my AT boots that day (or trip) or my alpine boots.  Used maybe 20 days total over two seasons. Never felt the need to wax because the phantom treatment was so versatile. They got one gouge near the edge underfoot that was filled with p-tex--it was not down to the bases.  This is an extremely versatile ski for out West--if you're looking for a one ski quiver and like powder these are worth seriously considering.  I expanded my quiver and just need to make room.
