Description
PICTURES: Taken outside in full sunlight. Last picture is the stone in the shade. The next to the last picture shows the degree oftranslucency.
ORGIN: Unknown, but best guess is China or southeast ASIA. Cabochon is the Jadeite variety of the two jades.
DYES AND ENHANCEMENTS; Checked out this cabochon with a Chelsea calcite color filter and detected NO dyes were used on or in the stone.

Cabochon description; COLOR; Medium green, with one end of the cab a little lighter green than the other. CUT; Free form oval shaped with a low dome. Very good translucency seen. (See picture 9) POLISH;
Very High
Satin finish front and back with AN edge bezel on the bottom edge. INCLUSIONS; None seen. Fractures: None seen. There are a couple of small spots off color in the top of the stone. A very nice, well cut, thin stone ready for mounting.
Dimensions are approx. Length 21.85 mm Width 12.35 mm. Thickness 3.51 mm Weight 9.55 carats.
