Summer of Love...incredibly ethereal Gunne Sax vintage 70s era corset prairie dress in a billowy watercolor floral pattern reminiscent of a Monet painting...she is beyond beautiful.
This pattern has an illusion to it that I've tried to capture in some of the photos, where it has a more neutral tone to the bodice that is emphasized by the antique cream lace, then flows into a very full skirt that has cool blue tones (to my eye)...
But the very best part is her size...well, by vtg Gunne standards, that is...believe this was a size 13 but the size tag has long fallen off, having a 34" bust & 28" waist, so may be at least a bit more accommodating as far as size versus the super restrictive smaller Gunne sizes from that era.
In very good pre-loved vtg condition having a bit of thread stress where bodice meets skirt, which is common to Gunne's of this type due to the fullness & weight of the skirt, also a bit of thread fray to hemline - if you need any extra photos, never hesitate to ask - we have plenty to share :)
