TRUE ANTIQUE VTG POST EDWARDIAN TEENS X FANCY TULLE LACE EMBROIDERY TEA DRESS S

Description

A very lovely very detailed original antique / vintage latter teens to early 20s party dress.  Created completely with ecru shade of tulle lace. The front and back are both as lovely as the other. It appears to be designed in layers of 3, however it is 2 layers with the inner bodice bodice being designed with an inset. The inner layer has a low round neckline while the outer comes up to the back of the neck.  Exquisitely created with super soutache embroidery while the edges are piped with thick satin cording and the skirt is lace cording. This dress is very intricately designed, I am relying on the photos for a fuller description. The skirt is 2 layers with the top being fuller while the inner one would accommodate a fuller circle petticoat for a special effect. The sleeves are sheer and are just as creative as the rest of the dress. The back has a hidden double layer closure of snaps and hooks/eyes. Truly a magnificent dress that would be perfect for any special occasion. It is in overall very good very sturdy condition; there is a bit of age foxing in small spots and some underarm marks; I believe a soaking would be just the refreshing that this superb dress needs. It is a small to medium size, the appox measurements are in the box above.
