Victorian Black & White Red Roses Print Calico Wrapper Women's Workwear Dress
This antique Victorian era black and white red roses print calico wrapper women's workwear dress dates from 1900. It is made of a white cotton calico fabric with a black vine leaf and red roses floral print design pattern. This women's workwear wrapper morning day dress has a long floor length style with an attached belted sash tie back, high neck fold over collar, gathered shoulders, long full sleeves with button cuffs, pleated back waist details, button closures on the front and a modesty button front insert camisole top lining the inside bodice, otherwise unlined. The dress measures 52 inches long, with a 3 inch bottom hem which could be let down, a 38 inch chest, 28 inch waist, 60 inch hips, 25 inch long sleeves and a 13 inch back. It is in good as-is condition, has not been cleaned with a several small rust spot stains on the waist and skirt (see close-ups). This is truly a wonderful piece of antique Victoriana workwear calico print wearable art!
