Vintage 1930's/1940's Gold Liquid Satin Dressing Gown

Description

This incredible gold liquid satin dressing gown zips up the front and has adorable ties at the neck. Let's not forget the impeccable trapunto stitching of grapes along the chest, shoulders, and back. I restored this beauty which was covered in mildew and had many popped seam throughout. You can still see the slightest faded spotting throughout and I didn't do the best job sewing the seams back. I just wanted to get it to a wearable point. There are still a few seam pops and it could use a few more soaks to fully lighten the spots. There are also a few tiny holes, snags, and the belt loops came undone, and some areas of the grapes have lost the stitches. No original belt remains.
It measures up to a 40 bust, 28 waist, with length of 57 inches down the front.
