** Vintage 1970s Mexican Dress S/M Purple w/White Embroidery Cotton Peasant Boho**
A flirty vintage 100% cotton embroidered yoke tunic tent mini dress from Mexico, circa 1970's.
The cotton is a medium-weight weave in purple, with hand-embroidery in soft white - a heavily embroidered yoke plus zig-zag embroidery along the sleeve edges, down the side seams and bottom ruffle. Lots of gathering below the bodice.
There is no size tag. It's pictured on a modern Misses 8-10 dress form. It best fits a modern 8-10; even though it's full and tent-like below the bodice anyone larger than a 10 would likely find it tight across the embroidered yoke and underarms.
Square embroidered yoke, ruffled cap sleeves, bottom ruffle with hand-rolled and stitched hem.
It's in very good, gently pre-owned condition, from a non-smoking home. No stains, holes, repairs.
Measurements: bust 18" across between the armpits when laid flat, embroidered yoke is 13" across, hip 31" across, sleeves 3", length 34", bottom edge where the ruffle is attached is 31" across.
