Vintage Art Deco Black Tulle Net Sequin Beaded Fringed Flapper Dress
This amazing vintage Art Deco black tulle net sequin beaded fringed fabulous flapper dress dates from the 1920s. It is made of a sheer black tulle net fabric with black sequins, beading done in an Art Deco decorative design with rhinestone beading around the neckline and armholes. This fabulous flapper dress has a straight sheath fitted drop waist style, sleeveless with wide armholes, plunging V necklines, sheer tulle net side hip skirt panels with long black beaded fringe trim hanging down and is sheer, unlined. The dress measures 44 inches long, with a 40 inch bust, 38 inch waist and 38 inch hips. It is in fair as-is condition needing some restoration, with loose, missing beads, many small frayed holes, breaks in the net from the weight of the beadwork and some discoloration, holes in the black tulle net side skirt drape fabric (see close-ups). This is truly a wonderful piece of Art Deco wearable art!
