TWO DRESSES IN ONE!!
Vintage Gaultier Lycra Ruched geometric body con midi dress Reversible
Now-- I am almost positive this is Gaultier--
But I took out the tag years ago because
I liked to wear the dress both backwards and forwards, I honestly don't even know which was the dress was designed to be worn-- I like the ruching in the front because I think the zipper is really sexy in front
(very J-Lo), but I think the zipper in the back is super sexy too and shows off the geometric design in front a little better....
So this is really 2 Dresses in One-- depending on whether you wear it backwards or forwards!!!!
Anyway, I took out the tag, but I'm pretty sure I remember that I bought this dress as a Gaultier dress. I have a few from that era and this has that feel.
But-- No Promises, It's my educated guess based on my taste and inclination at the time. If it's not him, it sure looks like him...
What matters is if you like the dress. I love this dress-- it's so so sexy and hugs the body so nicely, but it's not so crazy tight that you feel like your wearing latex glue painted on. Plus as with all things ruched-- it's wildly flattering.
The material is also unknown (No label...) but it feels like a lycra blend and it's got stretch to it so that even if your measurements don't match up exactly-- depending on how you like to wear your clothes-- this can still fit you nicely. The measurements were taken with the dress at rest, not on the model, so they represent the minimum, unstretched measurements
Measurements:
Waist: Min 14.5-- stretches
Hips: Min 14.5-- stretches
Bust: min 15-- stretches
Length from shoulder to hem: 46 inches
