Vintage "Marco" 1950s Black Silk Satin Heavily Beaded Evening Dress. Please note: vintage clothing is used clothing and sold as is. Downsizing a portion of my vintage clothing storage unit. I once wore this for a vintage fashion show. This dress is so show flattering when worn. Stunning silk satin sheath evening dress. Straight bodice with thin spaghetti straps, upper bodice is piped as is the waistline. Outer dress is constructed of medium weight silk satin and lined in black acetate. Couture construction.  Slight curved pointed bodice at waist. Flat front sheath skirt, back of skirt has two gathered butterfly wing peplum tails. Rounded peplum tails are "pinked". Back zip closure with very fine metal zipper. Tiny ribbon spaghetti bow adorns top low back of upper bodice. Fitted highly detailed sheath in a short cut look. Bodice has thick boning along sides and back. Bodice heavily adorned with bright rhinestones and clear glass beaded clusters. Inserted "V" center with clusters of clear heavy beads in swirled patterns and half flowers along top sides. Tiny bright rhinestones adorn flowers, top middle and larger rhinestones are patterned down the center of the clusters of clear beads. There are two sections where there were once three large rhinestones that are now missing. These would be eady to replace. Beautiful condition dress.
