Up for your consideration is a vintage black ballerina style dress. I’m dating this to at least the 1960s it could be older. The bodice of the dress is made out of a beautiful crêpe fabric, the skirt portion is a black taffeta. There is a working zipper on the side. The skirt is very full and looks beautiful when worn. I found two small spots on the edge of the skirt hem, see photo. There is a light residue on the front neckline, I do recommend laundering all vintage clothes.
The shoulders measures 16 inches across, the bust measures 34 inches, the waist measures 26 inches, the hips measure 48+ inches, and the dress is 47 inches long.
This is truly a retro romantic classic style dress. It would look beautiful with the shawl and a statement necklace. There are no tags, but it is very well-made.
