Made in Massachusetts by Dexter and sold under the company's finest Connoisseur line of cutlery, this magnificent chef's fork was hand-forged from the highest-quality stainless steel with handle scales crafted from the finest rosewood, as comfortable and effective in use as they are beautiful in appearance. Dating to the 1970's, this pair of (2) come in the largest size the company made, measuring 14" in length with 5.25" tines, and tough enough to be used hunting wild boar. Though used condition is still very good with no problems of any kind, as you can see in the photos. In short, these forks are as good as it gets in any kitchen, amateur or professional--the ultimate in gaining immediate authority over anything from the most delicately sauted medallions of veal to the most massive beef rib roasts.
