Description
Item measures 1.75" in diameter. This is a very colorful graphic button issued following aviator Douglas Corrigan’s New York to Ireland flight, for which permission had been denied, and which he made anyway claiming cloud cover and a misreading of his compass caused him to fly the "Wrong Way" which became his nickname. Actually his return to New York was greeted by a celebration with more people attending the Broadway ticker-tape parade than had honored Lindbergh. Mint.
