This un-lacquered brass french horn was played professionally, has patina throughout with more inside the bell flare, minor scratches from normal use and has a brass paddle soldered onto the thumb valve lever.

    Description

    Up for auction is a rare and used professional Yamaha YHR-867D "Custom" brass double french horn with a "Geyer" wrap and a detachable bell. All valves and slides move freely. There are no major dents present and several minor dings are too small to photograph. This un-lacquered brass french horn was played professionally, has patina throughout with more inside the bell flare, minor scratches from normal use and has a brass paddle soldered onto the thumb valve lever. The serial number is in the lower 001,xxx range and this french horn may benefit from a cleaning for optimal performance. Included is a used Yamaha suitcase style wood shell french horn case(the latches function as intended and the interior is intact for snug fit/good protection). No mouthpiece is included. I believe this is a discontinued model and is no longer being manufactured by Yamaha.
